VIP Electronic Security takes pride in never thinking a job is too small or too large. From small home units to large homes in their own grounds we will personally attend your premises and evaluate your security needs. We will listen to you, discuss the options available and advise you on the design, supply and installation of our quality products. A written quotation of all work to be undertaken is supplied to our prospective clients.

All of our alarm products and installations meet Australian Standards (AS2201). VIP Security’s reputation has been achieved because we offer only quality equipment that is installed by our own technicians. Our systems are supported by the manufacturers’ 2 year warranty and our after sales service that is second to none.

24 hour monitoring is offered by our grade 1 monitoring control room located in Perth ensuring a local knowledge of current events within your area at any time. You will be contacted if there is any alarm activation or power loss at your premises. The police will be notified of a multi-sector alarm or duress activation. You will also be advised if your system is reporting a fault to the control room.

VIP can offer a variety of intercoms providing another aspect to protecting your family. The intercoms are available in audio or video, colour or black and white and can be integrated with an access control system to open doors and gates.

Australian Standards recommend that alarm systems should be serviced every 12 months to ensure that your security continues to work effectively for your safety. If your alarm has not been serviced for more than 1 year call our office to arrange an appointment to service and maintain your system.

Q. My alarm system has a service or trouble light on. What does this mean?

A. Your alarm system is telling you it requires maintenance. The cause of the problem can vary and should be evaluated by an experienced technician. Call VIP Electronic Security on 9358 1100 to arrange an appointment.

Q. My alarm system is going off for no apparent reason.

A.There can be several different reasons this is happening:

  • Check your home for large moths, spiders or rodents and remove them from the premises.
  • Check that you have not left a window or door open.
  • Ensure your pets are put outside before leaving the premises.

Q. I am going on holidays, is there anything I should do? .

A. If your system is monitored you should call VIP Electronic Security on 9358 1100 to advise of your holiday dates and arrange a new temporary keyholder list for the period you are away. You should ensure that someone you trust has keys to access your premises and knows your wishes in case of a problem. Ensure your house is secure before leaving.

Q. My alarm system is monitored and I have set my alarm system off accidentally, what should I do?

A. You should call the phone number on your voice code card and advise them of this. Always keep your card somewhere safe as you will be asked about it when making contract with our control room.

Q. I have mislaid my voice code cards. What should I do?

A. Call VIP Electronic Security on 9358 1100 to arrange new voice code cards.

Q. I want to change the access PIN codes on my alarm system. How can I do this?

A. You have several choices :

  • Read your user manual and follow the instructions for changing the codes. You must know your master code to enable changes.
  • If you don’t have a user manual contact VIP Electronic Security on 9358 1100 to check if an email copy is available for your system.
  • You can call VIP Electronic Security on9358 1100 to arrange an appointment to program your for which a fee will be charged.

Q. I have purchased a house with a VIP Security alarmed installed. Do I need to do anything?

A. You should call VIP Electronic Security on 9358 1100 as soon as possible to advise your name and contact details. We strongly advise new owners to change their PIN codes as soon as possible.
